Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
whatismyscreenresolution.co is built to be private by default. This policy explains exactly what that means.
What we collect
Nothing about your display or device. All resolution, viewport, pixel-ratio, refresh-rate and browser readings are measured on your device using standard browser APIs and are never transmitted to us or any third party.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies for tracking. We store a single preference — your chosen light or dark theme — in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics and advertising
This site runs no advertising and no cross-site tracking. If privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics are ever added, they will not collect personal information and this policy will be updated first.
Third-party services
Pages are served as static files. Fonts are self-hosted, so no requests are made to third-party font providers. External links (for example to documentation) are clearly labelled; once you follow them, the destination site's own policies apply.
Children's privacy
The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
